From October 17, 2007 issue  YMCA invites participation in first adventure race for women The No Skirts Allowed Adventure Race (NSAAR) is accepting registrations for the first women-only race event which will take place at 9 a.m., October 20 at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp, St. Paul, Indiana. Proceeds from this event will support the Flat Rock River YMCA Camp located at the Ruth Lilly YMCA Outdoor Center. The adventure race is open to women ages 16 and older who have a competitive drive for outdoor activities. The events will include mountain biking (on road and trails), canoeing, trail running and hiking, orienteering/navigation and surprise mystery events. Prizes will be awarded based on overall results. Those interested in participating in the race may register their team at any local YMCA branch or online at www.indymca.org. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are also available for this event.
