Senior Ali Smith scored two goals and had one assist in the game. Sophomore Jenna Manuel scored the other goal while senior Chloe Chappelle and sophomore Stephanie Lindsey each had one assist. Junior Ciera Hughes had six saves in goal for the shutout. A strong defensive performance was turned in by senior Sarah Cotter and sophomores Aly Riley and Amy Clark. Two years ago the team won only three games the entire season. This year's team is now 14-4-1 and will play sixth ranked Brownsburg in the regional at 7 p.m.on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at Brownsburg High School. Perry advanced to the championship game by beating Lutheran 2-0 in the first round and Southport 3-0 in the semifinals. The Spotlight Publishing Company 4217 S.
