Grove welcomes new teachers to high
school Three new teachers have
been welcomed to Beech Grove High School for the 2008-09
school year. Andy Cassler, starting
his second year in the teaching profession came to Beech
Grove HS from Pendleton Middle School. He will be teaching
English in the freshman house and helping with the cross
country program. Cassler is a graduate of Butler
University. Matt English is the new
biology teacher in the freshman house. He will also be
teaching Anatomy and Physiology. He has previously taught at
Tri-West and Center Grove. English will serve as the varsity
boy's basketball coach. Lindsey Galloway returns
as a full time physical education instructor after filling
one semester on a temporary leave. Galloway graduated from
the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She will be
coaching the volleyball and girl's basketball
programs. Also new to the staff
this year area Carmen Hurley, vice principal, Barb Hurrle,
attendance assistant and Wendell "Butch" Mozingo, job
coach/classroom support assistant.
